Davis Fordham Griffin is the founder of Northstar Litigation, P.C. in Nashville, Tennessee. His practice includes criminal defense, government investigations, personal injury, consumer law, and commercial litigation. Davis earned a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Georgia and later completed a second B.A. in History there. He received his J.D. from Belmont University College of Law. He was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 2015 and later gained admission to federal courts, including the US District Courts for the Middle and Western Districts of Tennessee and the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
Davis represents clients in criminal matters involving fraud, kickback violations, money laundering, unlicensed conduct, narcotics trafficking, firearms offenses, assault, robbery, kidnapping, murder, and sexual violence. He also handles administrative and regulatory investigations. His civil practice includes personal injury and commercial disputes, and he serves as outside general counsel for companies in the technology and automotive sectors. He has recovered millions of dollars for civil clients.
Davis Fordham Griffin was appointed to the Criminal Justice Act Panel for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee in 2024. His recognition includes Mid-South Rising Stars, Tennessee Supreme Court Attorney for Justice honors, and a Top 40 Under 40 distinction from the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys.
