Bill Frederick

Bill Frederick is a partner at Banks & Brower, LLC, where he brings over a decade of exclusive criminal law experience to his role as a defense attorney. A former Deputy Prosecutor in Marion County, Bill has tried over 20 murder and attempted murder cases and is recognized for his trial expertise and deep understanding of complex criminal litigation.

Originally from Las Cruces, New Mexico, Bill earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Creighton University in 2004. He then obtained his Juris Doctor and a Master’s in Sports Administration from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2009. His diverse educational background enhances his strategic insight and well-rounded approach to client advocacy.

Bill launched his legal career in the Juvenile Division of the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, where he handled thousands of misdemeanor and felony cases. He then moved to the Municipal Division and later to the Major Felony Division, earning a strong reputation for prosecuting many of Indiana’s most serious and high-profile criminal cases. Bill also collaborated closely with homicide detectives in the Special Crimes Unit and eventually supervised Criminal Court 5, leading a team of major felony prosecutors.

Since joining Banks & Brower in 2019, Bill has continued to apply his prosecutorial experience to defending clients against a range of criminal charges, including DUI, domestic violence, and felony offenses. Known for his personal commitment to every client, he combines legal precision with a compassionate, client-first approach, earning praise from clients for his skill and sincerity.
