Eric earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Butler University in 2010, followed by his Juris Doctor with honors from Valparaiso University School of Law in 2013. During law school, he gained practical experience working as a law clerk for a full-service firm and later at a large prosecuting attorney’s office, where he developed his early skills in criminal law.

After starting his legal career at Banks & Brower in 2014, Eric joined the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office in 2016. There, he prosecuted a wide range of criminal cases, including high-level felonies and murder charges. His exemplary work led to statewide recognition in 2020, when he became the first Indiana prosecutor to receive the Traffic Safety All-Star Leadership Award from the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute.

Eric returned to private practice with experience that includes both personal injury and criminal defense, providing him with a well-rounded litigation perspective.
