Joe Wyckoff is a dedicated criminal defense attorney at Banks & Brower, LLC in Indianapolis. With a well-rounded background that includes service as both a public defender and a deputy prosecutor, Joe brings valuable courtroom insight and strategic versatility to every case he handles, from misdemeanors to major felonies.

Joe began his legal career after earning his Juris Doctor in 2017 from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations & Rhetorical Advocacy from Purdue University, where he was a Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity member. His undergraduate communication training enhances his effectiveness in negotiations and trial advocacy.

Joe started his career representing parents in Department of Child Services (DCS) cases at the Marion County Public Defender Agency. He later served as a Deputy Prosecutor at the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, where he handled a range of criminal matters, including misdemeanors, level six felonies, and juvenile major felonies. This dual experience on both sides of the courtroom equips Joe with a comprehensive understanding of criminal procedure and case strategy.
