Beth A. Roesler

Beth A. Roesler is the Sioux Falls Managing Partner at Goosmann Law Firm and practices in employment and family law. She advises employers on handbooks, training, difficult personnel situations, internal investigations, discrimination charges, and lawsuits. Her employment work includes matters involving Title VII, the ADA, the ADEA, the FMLA, wrongful termination, and labor disputes, while her family practice includes divorce, custody, support, visitation, and surrogacy matters.

Beth earned a Juris Doctor from the University of South Dakota School of Law in May 2009, where she served as a Note and Comment Editor and staff writer for the South Dakota Law Review. She earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Dakota in 2006 and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from Mount Marty College in 1995. Her combined legal, business, and administrative education supports practical workplace counseling and litigation.

Beth works with employers on preventive employment-law measures as well as disputes after claims arise. Her experience includes policy updates, workforce training, internal investigations, discrimination and harassment claims, leave and disability issues, and litigation. She also represents clients in family-law matters involving divorce, child custody, premarital agreements, and related disputes. Her background in human resources helps her connect legal rules with day-to-day workplace decisions and organizational needs.
