Bernard (“Bud”) M. Berman

Bernard (“Bud”) M. Berman is the founder of Berman & Associates and a family law attorney with more than 50 years of experience. He represents clients in divorce, property distribution, support, custody, relocation, and prenuptial agreement matters. His practice also includes personal injury and family law. He has appeared in state and federal courts and before the American Arbitration Association, handling commercial, securities, criminal, personal injury, governance, constitutional, contract, real estate, zoning, and employment matters for diverse clients throughout Pennsylvania today.

Bud graduated from Swarthmore College in 1962. He later earned his LL.B. and J.D. from Columbia Law School in New York City. His education prepared him for a broad legal career involving family law, litigation, arbitration, and organizational counsel. After law school, he returned to Delaware County and built a practice serving individuals, families, businesses, and fraternal organizations. His decades of legal work reflect extensive courtroom experience and a long-standing commitment to clients throughout southeastern Pennsylvania and beyond professionally today.

Bud has served for decades as General Counsel to a national collegiate fraternity, advising on governance disputes, constitutional rights, contracts, real estate, zoning, employment, insurance, and personal injury issues. This role has taken him to many states across the US and expanded his experience with organizational legal matters. He has also represented clients in commercial, securities, criminal, and personal injury disputes. His work combines courtroom advocacy, arbitration experience, and practical counsel across several areas of law and client needs nationwide.
