About

Benjamin Rosenthal has over 30 years of experience representing employees in workplace legal matters. He focuses on fighting for the rights of workers who face unlawful treatment, including discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination. His commitment is to provide strong legal support against powerful employers and large firms.

Benjamin earned his Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School in 1982. Before entering private practice, he represented federal agencies such as the Bonneville Power Administration and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. He transitioned to plaintiff’s employment law in 1987 and opened his own office in 1990 to better serve individuals and workers in need of legal help.

Benjamin focuses his legal work solely on protecting employees. He has successfully helped clients in claims involving sexual harassment, civil rights violations, disability discrimination, family medical leave, and wage disputes. His extensive experience in employment law has led to strong results in both federal and state courts, including a $408,500 jury verdict in Orme v. Burlington Coat Factory.

Benjamin is licensed to practice law in both Oregon and Washington, including in the U.S. District Courts and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He also handles administrative hearings before agencies like the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and Washington State’s Unemployment Insurance offices.

Benjamin is an active member of the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association, the Multnomah Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association. His professional affiliations reflect a deep dedication to upholding employee rights and pursuing justice for individuals who have experienced workplace injustice.

Benjamin Rosenthal continues to be a trusted advocate for workers across Oregon and Washington. With decades of legal experience, his mission remains clear: to deliver the highest level of representation for clients facing powerful opposition in employment law cases.
