Ben earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma with a minor in Mathematics. After working as a chemist at Isotek Laboratories, he returned to the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in the top 10% of his class and earned the prestigious Order of the Coif distinction in 2013.

Ben began his legal career at McAfee and Taft, focusing on intellectual property and patent law. However, his passion for justice led him to public defense, where he spent five years representing individuals in Oklahoma County.
