Bari Zahn

Bari Zahn is the founder and managing partner of Zahn Law Global, LLP, in New York City. She practices domestic and international tax law while advising companies, entrepreneurs, family offices, and private clients on business matters. Her work includes cross-border transactions, tax structuring, estate planning, and executive agreements. She also provides general counsel advice to organizations that need coordinated legal and commercial guidance.

Zahn earned a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 1995 and a Bachelor of Arts from New York University in 1988. Her education also included intensive economic and language studies at Franklin College in Lugano, Switzerland. After law school, she served as an attorney advisor to a judge of the United States Tax Court. That experience helped establish her tax-focused legal career.

Her experience includes representing domestic and international businesses in mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, tax controversies, and inbound and outbound transactions. Zahn has advised clients before federal and New York tax authorities. She has also held a wealth management leadership role addressing income tax, trust, and estate planning. Her background includes advising business owners, executives, real estate enterprises, and nonprofit organizations on related legal issues.

Zahn has served in legal industry leadership roles and has received recognition for pro bono service, including an Empire State Counsel award from the New York State Bar Association. She has also written on executive compensation and corporate tax matters.
