Barbara completed her Bachelor of Science from Southern Illinois University in 1998 before earning her Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude, from Syracuse University College of Law in 2003. Her academic honors included placement on the dean’s list and membership in the Justinian Honor Society. Her educational path followed ten years of active duty service in the United States Navy, where she advanced from Engineman to instructor at the Gas Turbine Technician A-school.

Barbara began her legal career after admission to the Illinois Supreme Court in 2003 and later expanded her licensure to the California Supreme Court in 2012, the U.S. District Court in 2013, and the Nevada Supreme Court in 2023. She also became an Accredited Attorney with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in 2015. Over the years, she has guided clients through estate planning matters, probate administration, real estate concerns, and bankruptcy challenges with steady, informed judgment.

Barbara draws on her diverse background—including years spent working on mechanical and electronic systems in the Navy—to understand the pressures clients face when navigating legal issues.
