Austin completed his Bachelor’s in Entertainment and Media Studies (Minor in English) at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, in 2018, graduating magna cum laude. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens, Georgia, in 2021.

Austin developed strong research and writing skills during law school, serving as Executive Notes Editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law. His published Note appeared in the 28th volume of the journal, reflecting disciplined analysis and clear communication that continue to shape his legal practice.

Austin earned the CALI award for Entertainment Law, recognizing the highest semester grade in the course. This achievement highlights his command of complex subject matter and his ability to master detailed legal concepts, skills that support careful preparation and informed advocacy for clients and families.

Austin’s interest in family law was shaped through hands-on experience with the Jane W. Wilson Family Justice Clinic, where he assisted domestic abuse survivors. That work strengthened his commitment to practical solutions, empathy, and steady guidance when individuals face emotionally difficult legal situations and transitions.

Austin also brings experience from business litigation, adding a strategic perspective to negotiation and courtroom preparation.
