Aubrey L. Brown Jr.

Aubrey L. Brown, Jr. is a dedicated attorney with extensive experience in family law and probate litigation. He represents clients in divorce, child custody and support, adoption, and parental rights. His practice also includes estate matters such as will contests, probate administration, and guardianship and conservatorship proceedings. Brown earned his Juris Doctor from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis in 1993 after graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Memphis in 1989. Following law school, he clerked for the Honorable Joe B. Jones, on the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals and gained valuable insight into the judicial system. He entered private practice in 1994 and has since focused on family law and probate litigation.

With a client-centered approach, Brown helps individuals through every stage of family law disputes, including divorce, enforcement of court orders, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. He also represents clients in probate cases, assisting with estate administration, will disputes, and claims involving executors and administrators. Brown is an active member of the Memphis Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association, serving as Chair of the Family Law Section of the Memphis Bar Association from 2007 to 2008. Licensed to practice in Tennessee since 1994, he has been admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee since 1997.
