Ashlee N. Duplessis is the founder of Duplessis Law, PLLC, where she fiercely defends individuals accused of crimes across Michigan. Ashlee earned her B.S. from Grand Valley State University in 2015. She received her J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law in 2018, where she graduated from the competitive Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute.

Ashlee’s career began with a strong focus on civil rights. As an MSU Civil Rights Clinic student attorney, she represented incarcerated individuals in federal lawsuits against the Michigan Department of Corrections. She also clerked at the State Appellate Defender Office, working on juvenile lifer cases.

After law school, Ashlee continued to represent Michigan inmates in federal court and became a trusted court-appointed attorney for criminal and abuse & neglect cases in Genesee, Wayne, and Shiawassee counties. She now defends clients across Michigan, handling a wide range of cases, including juvenile offenses, criminal sexual conduct, felonies, misdemeanors, and expungements.

Ashlee N. Duplessis graduated from the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan Trial College and frequently attends national seminars to sharpen her skills. Her memberships include the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), and she has been recognized among the Top 40 Under 40 by Super Lawyers.
