Anthony Paduano

Anthony Paduano, Partner at Paduano & Weintraub LLP, brings decades of experience in securities litigation, trade secrets, and complex commercial disputes. He has served as Receiver on behalf of the SEC in federal proceedings. He has earned recognition as a New York Super Lawyer for securities litigation across multiple years, including 2010 and 2013–2024.

Anthony earned his A.B., cum laude, from Georgetown University in 1979, followed by an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics in 1981. He then received his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law in 1984, where he served as a Member and Editor of the Rutgers Law Review between 1983–1984.

Earlier in his career, Anthony clerked for the Honorable Clarkson S. Fisher, Chief United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey. His distinguished record includes appointment as Receiver by Chief Judge Michael B. Mukasey of the Southern District of New York in the Cobalt Multifamily Investors I, LLC matter, reflecting his trusted expertise in high-stakes federal litigation.

Anthony has received numerous honors, including the Thurgood Marshall Award from the Association of the Bar of the City of New York in 1998.
