Ann M. O’Hara is a seasoned attorney at Dale & Eke with a legal practice focused on estate planning, trust administration, business formation, tax law, and real estate. With over three decades of experience, she serves individuals, family-owned businesses, and corporations, offering strategic legal guidance that addresses both current needs and long-term goals. Ms. O’Hara is known for her practical advice and clear communication on complex estate and tax matters.
Ms. O’Hara earned her J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 1990. She holds a B.S., summa cum laude, in Finance from St. Joseph’s College, awarded in 1985.
Ms. O’Hara advises on a broad range of legal areas, including the creation of revocable and irrevocable trusts, retirement plan documentation, operating agreements, corporate by-laws, buy-sell arrangements, and business succession strategies. Her extensive experience in federal tax law includes advising employers on qualified retirement plans such as 401(k) and profit-sharing plans. She brings both private and public sector insights, having served as a tax analyst for the Indiana Department of Revenue and as Director of the Corporations Division in the Indiana Secretary of State’s Office.
Admitted to practice in Indiana and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, Ms. O’Hara is a frequent speaker on estate planning topics such as IRA trusts and charitable planning. She is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association and serves on the board of the Indiana Benefits Connection.
Ann M. O’Hara is also actively involved in civic leadership. Her contributions include board service for the Hamilton County Community Foundation, Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County, the Humane Society of Hamilton County, and the OneZone Chamber of Commerce.
