Angela K. Edwards

Angela K. Edwards is Of Counsel at Elam & Burke in Boise, Idaho, with a background in commercial, real estate, and technology transactions and relationships. Her current practice includes Business Formations & Corporate Transactions and Real Estate. She advises clients on legal and business law matters using experience developed both as outside counsel and as in-house counsel, giving her perspective on how transactions, operations, risk management, and legal strategy interact inside an organization.

Edwards earned a J.D. from Tulane University Law School in 1995 and a B.A. in English and German from Bowdoin College in 1992. Her legal education launched a career that began in private law firms, where she worked as a commercial real estate and general commercial attorney. That foundation in contracts, transactions, and property matters later supported her move into a major corporate legal department and her return to private practice.

In 2011, Edwards joined Micron Technology, Inc., where she served as an in-house attorney, manager, and leader. She managed global legal teams supporting different business functions and established and oversaw the Legal Operations function within the company’s global legal department. At her law practice, she uses that experience to advise clients on corporate and real estate transactions while bringing an operational understanding of how legal advice must work within broader business priorities.

Angela K. Edwards has served in leadership roles with the Association of Corporate Counsel Mountain West Chapter and has prior board service with community organizations. Her career across law firms and a global technology company gives her a practical approach to commercial counseling. She helps businesses structure transactions, address real estate and corporate issues, and coordinate legal decisions with operational needs, using experience that spans traditional legal practice, in-house leadership, and legal department management.
