Andrew Schulz serves as the head of the Austin office at Martin, Disiere, Jefferson & Wisdom, L.L.P., offering clients twenty years of legal expertise. His practice centers on tort defense litigation, construction defect claims, commercial disputes, and insurance matters. Andrew has significant experience leading pre-suit investigations in complex tort cases involving serious injuries and multi-layered insurance coverage.
Andrew completed his B.B.A. with Honors from the University of Texas in 1998 before earning his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 2001. He is licensed to practice in all Texas courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas.
Throughout his career, Andrew has built a strong reputation for defending clients in catastrophic injury suits, truck accidents, machine accidents, oil and gas incidents, and construction-related disputes. He is particularly known for his strategic evaluation of Stowers claims and the retention of expert witnesses to facilitate early and favorable case resolutions. Before joining his current law firm, he worked with Preston & Cowan, L.L.P., and served as a Briefing Attorney at the Court of Appeals for the First District of Texas.
Andrew Schulz has been recognized multiple times by Super Lawyers® and has been named to the Texas Rising Stars list.
