About
Andrew Rueff is a partner at Lunsford, Baskin & Priebe who represents injured individuals and their families in Mississippi. Andrew focuses on people who have been injured, killed, or disabled in accidents, work-related incidents, or through the wrongful acts of others. He also routinely represents injured workers before the Mississippi Workers Compensation Commission and handles personal injury and insurance matters in trial and appellate courts.
Andrew earned his J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law and a B.A. in English Literature from Millsaps College. In law school, he worked as a faculty research assistant in the area of capital punishment policy and served as an advocate for children from low-income families through the university’s Civil Legal Clinic. That combination of research, writing, and direct client service helped prepare him for litigation focused on injured individuals.
Andrew has handled hundreds of cases and has tried dozens of jury and bench trials to verdict. He has also argued personal injury and insurance matters before Mississippi appellate courts. His practice includes workplace injury claims, accident litigation, wrongful death matters, and disputes with insurers and large corporate defendants. This experience gives him familiarity with medical evidence, damages, trial preparation, workers’ compensation procedure, and the strategic decisions required when a case cannot be resolved before hearing or trial.
Andrew Rueff is admitted to practice in Mississippi and is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association and American Bar Association. His practice is built around representing individuals and families facing the financial and personal consequences of serious injuries or disability. By combining trial work, appellate advocacy, and workers’ compensation experience, he helps clients pursue available benefits and compensation while guiding them through the procedural demands of contested injury claims.
