About
Andrew Radding is widely recognized as one of Baltimore’s most respected litigators, with over five decades of experience handling complex cases. His practice spans commercial litigation, criminal defense and investigations, and family law, as well as licensing and ethics disputes involving professional service providers. Known as a fierce advocate, Andrew has guided clients through some of the most challenging disputes in both state and federal courts.
Andrew earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1968 after completing his B.B.A. at the Baruch School of the City University of New York. He is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and New York. Over the years, he has shared his knowledge as a long-serving adjunct professor at the University of Baltimore School of Law, helping shape the careers of future attorneys.
Throughout his career, Andrew has built a reputation for securing impactful results. Notably, he played a pivotal role as lead local counsel in a class action against Royal Ahold, helping secure a $1.1 billion settlement—one of the largest securities settlements in history. His work also includes defending high-profile white-collar cases, prosecuting conspiracy charges as a former Assistant U.S. Attorney, and representing clients in sensitive family law disputes. His blend of courtroom skill and strategic insight has made him a trusted advisor in high-stakes matters.
Andrew Radding’s leadership in the legal community is equally distinguished. He has served as President of the Bar Association of Baltimore City, the Baltimore Bar Foundation, and the Baltimore Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. His peers have recognized him consistently, including listings in Best Lawyers in America, Maryland Super Lawyers, and Marquis Who’s Who in American Law.
