About

Andrew Ordyna is a senior litigation partner at Cordell & Cordell whose practice focuses on family law. His work concerns divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, and related disputes arising from changes in family relationships. Ordyna is also a certified mediator. Based at the firm’s Marietta, Georgia office, he advises clients on litigation choices and the importance of clear communication about case goals and the practical results they are seeking.

Ordyna received his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law, where he served as an associate legislation editor for the Georgia State University Law Review. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, with a minor in International Studies, from Georgia Southern University, graduating magna cum laude. His studies and legal writing experience provided training in legal research and analysis useful in contested domestic cases and negotiated resolutions.

Ordyna obtained his first law license in New Hampshire in 2000 and was also licensed in Massachusetts and Georgia in 2002. Before joining Cordell & Cordell in 2007, he worked at the New Hampshire Public Defender’s Office and later as an associate in private practice. That litigation background informs his approach to family disputes, client counseling, and courtroom preparation. His family practice centers on helping clients understand the proceedings and decisions involved in domestic litigation.

Andrew Ordyna participates in professional bar organizations and brings courtroom and public defense experience to his work with divorcing spouses and parents. He emphasizes that clients should understand the legal process and communicate their objectives clearly with counsel. His mediation training complements his litigation role by adding another perspective on dispute resolution. He assists clients in evaluating options and addressing family law problems that may affect financial circumstances and parenting responsibilities.
