Andrew H. Dominguez

Andrew H. Dominguez is a San Antonio criminal defense attorney who represents people facing criminal allegations and related court proceedings. His legal career developed through hands-on defense work that began while he was still in law school. He focuses on careful preparation, legal analysis, and direct advocacy for clients confronting serious consequences. Andrew earned his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2024. He also completed a Master of Jurisprudence with a concentration in Compliance, Business Law, and Risk at St. Mary’s University School of Law. He received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of St. Mary’s in 2019. His education supports his work involving legal research, risk analysis, compliance issues, and criminal defense strategy for client matters.

Andrew began gaining practical criminal defense experience during law school when he clerked with a San Antonio defense practice. That role exposed him to client matters, case preparation, and the day-to-day demands of criminal representation before he earned his law degree. He continues building on that early experience through focused defense work, applying research, organization, and client-centered preparation to matters that require careful attention to procedure, evidence, and legal consequences.

Andrew H. Dominguez is active in the St. Mary’s Hispanic Law Alumni Association, Mexican American Bar Association, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and San Antonio Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He earned a Pro Bono and Public Service Certificate after completing more than 100 service hours and received the inaugural Aida Rojas Award for mentorship and advocacy. His involvement reflects a continued commitment to criminal defense, public service, and the legal community.
