About

Bryan S. Orihel is a San Antonio criminal defense attorney who represents clients in state and federal criminal matters across South Texas. He handles DWI cases, including blood and breath alcohol evidence, along with assault, aggravated assault, drug possession, theft, and family violence charges. He brings extensive trial experience to his practice and uses detailed evidence review, forensic training, and courtroom preparation to challenge prosecution cases and protect clients’ rights.

Bryan earned his B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin, with a minor in Business Foundations, in 2008. He received his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2011. During law school, he studied International Comparative Law at the University of Innsbruck in Austria. His education and additional forensic training support his analysis of criminal evidence, procedural issues, and scientific testing in contested DWI cases.

Bryan has tried criminal cases throughout South Texas, including matters in Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Medina, Nueces, Kerr, and Kendall counties. His DWI work includes challenges involving field sobriety tests, breath testing, blood alcohol evidence, gas chromatography, and laboratory procedures. He has also obtained not guilty verdicts and dismissals in cases involving assault, aggravated assault, controlled substances, theft, and family violence. His approach emphasizes careful review of evidence and police procedures.

Bryan S. Orihel has been recognized repeatedly by Scene in S.A. Magazine, including recognition among San Antonio criminal defense and DWI lawyers. He is a member of the San Antonio Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, National College for DUI Defense, and DUI Defense Lawyers Association.
