Andrea D. Jaeger

Andrea D. Jaeger is an experienced criminal defense attorney serving clients in the Iowa and Illinois Quad Cities. She practices in federal and state courts, handling trial and appellate matters involving gun offenses, drug offenses, VICAR and RICO allegations, fraud, white collar defense, OWI, sex abuse, and homicide cases.

Andrea earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Northern Iowa, graduating summa cum laude with double majors in Criminology and Psychology. She received her Master of Science from Iowa State University and Juris Doctor from Drake University, graduating with highest honors and Order of the Coif distinction.

Andrea brings strong courtroom and appellate experience to complex criminal matters, helping clients navigate serious allegations with careful preparation and strategic advocacy. Her background also includes defending civil suits involving legal malpractice, negligence, and civil rights claims against law enforcement officers, giving her broad litigation insight across sensitive disputes.

Andrea is deeply involved in the legal community, serving as Chair of the Young Lawyers Division and Mock Trial Committee of the Scott County Bar Association. She also serves on executive, criminal law, federal practice, and judicial nominating groups, while maintaining memberships in numerous Iowa, Illinois, and national organizations.

Andrea frequently presents on criminal defense topics, including federal procedure, gun laws, white collar matters, diversity, and other legal issues. She was named among Rising Stars for White Collar Criminal Defense in 2017 and 2018, and received the Iowa Defense Counsel Association Rising Star Award in 2016 for excellence.

Based in Davenport, Iowa, she heads the Quad Cities office of Keegan, Tindal, & Jaeger and remains active through Junior Achievement, student mentoring, and board service with the Humane Society of Scott County.
