Amy earned her J.D. from George Mason University School of Law while working full-time, and she received her B.S. in Journalism and Criminal Justice from the University of Richmond. Her path through law school, combined with early hands-on experience in the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, shaped her commitment to public service and sharpened the litigation skills she brings to every case.
Before entering private practice, Amy served as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Hampton and Loudoun County. She prosecuted a wide range of offenses, from traffic crimes to serious felonies, gaining valuable insight into how cases are investigated, prepared, and tried. She later worked as Senior Attorney for Allstate Insurance Company, where she handled bodily injury claims, wrongful death matters, coverage disputes, fraud investigations, and major litigation, recovering more than $2 million in subrogation on behalf of insured clients.
