Amir M. Farzaneh

Amir M. Farzaneh is the founding partner of Farzaneh Law Firm in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he focuses on immigration law. With more than 30 years of practice, Farzaneh advises individuals, families, professionals, and businesses navigating the U.S. immigration system. His work includes family-based immigration, business immigration, citizenship and naturalization, asylum, deportation and removal defense, and related federal immigration matters. The firm represents immigration clients nationwide.

Farzaneh earned his J.D. from Oklahoma City University School of Law in December 1995. He previously received an undergraduate degree in Nuclear Medicine from the University of Oklahoma in 1988 and a master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 1990. His combined legal and healthcare education provides a broad analytical background for addressing detailed immigration filings, regulatory requirements, and complex factual circumstances.

Farzaneh has handled complex immigration matters throughout his career and is admitted to practice in Oklahoma and Texas, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. His practice covers family petitions, employment-based visas, permanent residence, naturalization, asylum, removal proceedings, and federal immigration litigation when appropriate.

Amir M. Farzaneh also contributes to immigration law through teaching, writing, and professional education. He has taught immigration law at Oklahoma City University School of Law for about a decade, authored articles, and co-authored two books on immigration law. Farzaneh has spoken for organizations including the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Oklahoma Bar Association, and the Society for Human Resource Management. His experience combines client representation with ongoing engagement in immigration law education and policy issues.
