Ammar Medhi Khan

Ammar Medhi Khan is the founding member of Khan Law PLLC, where his practice focuses on immigration law, business, and health law. His immigration work includes family-based and business immigration matters for individuals, companies, and international clients. He assists with temporary work visas, employment-based and family-based green cards, and investor visas. His practice includes advising overseas businesses with operations and personnel entering the United States.

Mr. Khan earned a B.S. from Wayne State University. He later received his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. His academic training prepared him for a practice involving immigration, business transactions, healthcare compliance, and related regulatory matters.

Mr. Khan has experience with healthcare regulation and business operations. He previously worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, auditing departmental compliance with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. His earlier experience includes work with a home care franchise involving ADA and HIPAA compliance. He has assisted home health care providers with licensing and audits. His business work includes entity formations, buy-sell agreements, commercial lending documents, licensing agreements, distribution agreements, consulting contracts, and shareholder agreements.

Ammar Medhi Khan is admitted to practice in Michigan and maintains memberships with the State Bar of Michigan and Oakland County Bar Association. His practice includes real estate negotiations, leasing matters, and management issues involving clients’ real estate holdings. His clients have included Real Estate Investment Trusts. He combines immigration representation with business, healthcare, compliance, contract, and real estate guidance for individuals and commercial clients.
