Amber L. Cain

Amber L. Cain is a Louisiana attorney committed to guiding families through sensitive legal challenges. Her practice focuses on family law, estate planning, succession, and domestic violence matters. Amber earned her B.A. in Religious Studies from Millsaps College in 2009, graduating magna cum laude and gaining induction into Phi Beta Kappa. She also pursued a minor in Psychology and held the prestigious Lilly Fellowship, where she completed externships and leadership projects in child advocacy and women’s services. Building on this academic foundation, she obtained her J.D./D.C.L. from Louisiana State University Law Center in 2012, where she contributed more than 50 hours of pro bono service.

She began with positions at the Office of the Louisiana Attorney General in the Criminal Appellate Division, the East Baton Rouge Parish District Attorney’s Office in the Domestic Violence Section, and the Baton Rouge Battered Women’s Program. She also gained valuable litigation skills as a Certified Student Attorney with the LSU Juvenile Defense Clinic. Early in her professional career, she served as an associate attorney at Brett K. Duncan & Co. and as a contract attorney for Conroy Law Firm, adding to her broad courtroom and client experience.

Amber continues to support families and children in Louisiana through her practice. Her membership in organizations such as the Louisiana State Bar Association, the New Orleans Bar Association, and the Jefferson Bar Association reflects her professional engagement. She also serves on the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Children’s Law Committee and Public Access and Consumer Protection Committee. By handling cases involving protective orders, adoption, custody, and succession planning, she provides essential support to families seeking both protection and peace of mind.
