Amanda Newins is an Attorney at Shannon & Associates, P.C., where she concentrates her practice on criminal and civil litigation. She brings substantial courtroom experience to her work, including several years of service as a prosecutor in Chesapeake, where she primarily handled adult felony cases and complex criminal matters.
Amanda earned her Juris Doctor from Regent University School of Law in 2016, following her undergraduate studies at James Madison University in 2014. She was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Virginia in 2016, marking the start of a legal career grounded in litigation, advocacy, and public service.
Amanda has litigated a wide range of felony cases and has developed particular interests in animal law and driving under the influence offenses.
