Allison M. Lansell

Allison M. Lansell is a partner in Bricker Graydon Wyatt’s Cleveland office and a member of the firm’s Health Care Group. She advises long-term care providers and other health care organizations on transactional and regulatory matters. Her work includes acquisitions, divestitures, financing, leasing, distressed asset sales, licensure, certification, enrollment, vendor agreements, and other business issues where operational goals must be coordinated with complex health care regulatory requirements.

Allison earned a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology, summa cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University, with a minor in psychology. Her legal education supports a practice that requires careful transaction structuring, regulatory analysis, contract review, and risk management. She has built on that foundation through work involving health care operations, financing, corporate organization, and compliance across heavily regulated provider settings.

Allison has extensive experience with nursing home and senior living transactions, including traditional and HUD financing, portfolio acquisitions, facility sales, reorganizations, joint ventures, and entity formation or dissolution. Earlier in her career, she worked in the legal affairs department of a major health system, analyzing Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, Medicare, and Medicaid issues. That combination of transactional and regulatory work helps her identify compliance concerns early in significant business decisions.

She is active in the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and serves in leadership with the Ohio Assisted Living Association.
