Allison L. Davis is a shareholder at Brown & Fortunato, where she focuses her practice on labor and employment law. She provides strategic counsel and creative solutions to employers facing complex workplace challenges, helping them navigate issues involving discrimination, harassment, non-competition agreements, wage and hour compliance, leaves of absence, and workplace accommodations. Known for her practical, prevention-focused approach, Allison helps employers develop sound policies and practices that minimize risk and foster fair, compliant workplaces.
Allison earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Texas Tech University School of Law and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Austin College. She is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization—a distinction achieved by only a select number of attorneys in the state. Licensed in both Texas and Tennessee, she also practices before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of Texas.
In addition to her advisory work, Allison is a seasoned litigator who represents clients in state and federal court at every stage of employment-related disputes. She has successfully defended employers before agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the Department of Labor (DOL), and the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). She also advises clients on employment issues arising in mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transitions, including due diligence, executive contracts, and post-closing integration.
