Alexandra Hodson

Alexandra Hodson is an associate attorney at Parsons Behle & Latimer in Boise, where her practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property law. She assists clients ranging from start-ups to multinational corporations in navigating trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights, patents, portfolio management, and IP litigation. Known for her client-centered approach, she helps organizations protect, enforce, and maximize the value of their intellectual property.

Alexandra earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Boise State University in 2013, where she was recognized as a High Ability Scholar. She later graduated magna cum laude from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2018. While in law school, she consistently appeared on the Dean’s List, served as Chief Managing Editor of the Idaho Law Review, and received the Rising Star Award in recognition of her academic excellence.

Before joining Parsons Behle & Latimer, Alexandra clerked for Justice Horton and Justice Moeller of the Idaho Supreme Court and practiced at Holland & Hart. She also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Idaho College of Law’s Entrepreneurship Law Clinic, where she lectures on intellectual property law and prosecutes trademark applications with the USPTO on behalf of the program’s clients.

Alexandra Hodson’s professional accomplishments include being named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Intellectual Property, as well as an honoree of the Idaho Business Review’s Leaders in Law and the University of Idaho College of Law Rising Star Award in 2024. Active in the legal community, she has chaired the Idaho State Bar’s Intellectual Property Law Section, served as Secretary of the Litigation Section, and remains an engaged member of INTA and Idaho Women Lawyers.
