About
Jason R. Ploppert, Esq., is a partner at RQP Law specializing in Social Security Law. Before helping form the firm, he worked with his current fellow partner at Stephen Ross Law, LLC, first as an intern and later as an associate attorney. His practice centers on helping clients pursue Social Security disability benefits and appeals. His background reflects experience developed through legal practice, trial advocacy activities, and work assisting individuals through the Social Security process and related legal challenges involving disability claims.
Jason earned his bachelor’s degree in crime, law and justice from Penn State University before receiving his law degree from Widener University. At Widener, he was a Merit Scholar and Academic Success Fellow. He served as president of the Moe Levine Trial Advocacy Honor Society and participated in mock trial competitions as a coach, mentor, and presiding judge. His law school activities emphasized advocacy, leadership, legal writing, and courtroom skills that supported his work representing clients in Social Security matters.
Jason was a senior member of The Delaware Journal of Corporate Law and an active member of Phi Alpha Delta during law school. His advocacy work earned the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association’s James J. Mandarino Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. He received the American Association for Justice-Widener University chapter’s Best Overall Advocate award. These achievements reflect the preparation, communication, and advocacy skills he developed before entering practice and later applying them to client representation and Social Security disability matters.
Jason R. Ploppert continues his practice as a partner at RQP Law, where the firm identifies Social Security Law as his area of specialization. His work draws on experience gained in earlier legal roles and extensive advocacy training during law school. He helps clients navigate Social Security disability matters within a practice focused on obtaining benefits and handling appeals. His background combines legal education, courtroom training, and direct client representation in an area marked by administrative requirements and procedural challenges.
