Alexandra Bachman is a skilled litigation attorney and partner at James, McElroy & Diehl (JMD), where she has practiced civil litigation for over five years. She represents clients across various disputes, including bodily injury and wrongful death, business litigation, construction disputes, debt collection, employment conflicts, professional negligence, and white-collar defense. With a strategic and client-focused approach, she develops practical legal solutions tailored to each case.

Alexandra earned her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law in 2019, serving as a Note Editor for the First Amendment Law Review. Her article, “WTF? First Amendment Implications of Policing Profanity”, was published in 2018 and received the James R. Cleary Prize, recognizing outstanding legal scholarship in media law and policy.

Before law school, Alexandra graduated cum laude from the University of Delaware with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Languages, Literature, and Cultures. Her academic background in language and communication informs her ability to break down complex legal issues into clear, straightforward guidance for her clients.

Alexandra takes on high-stakes cases in state and federal courts as a litigator. She is admitted to practice in North Carolina, as well as the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina. Her practice is defined by efficient case strategy, cost-conscious legal solutions, and a commitment to helping clients navigate legal disputes effectively.
