Alex P. Krasutsky

Alex P. Krasutsky is a dedicated immigration and family law attorney serving clients in Indiana, Illinois, and across the U.S. Through his work at Krasutsky & Hervey Legal, LLC, Alex brings a unique blend of scientific, international, and legal experience to every case. Fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian, he provides multilingual legal services to clients from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.

Alex earned his J.D. from Indiana University McKinney School of Law in 2010. He holds an M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, Duluth (1996), and a B.S. from Moscow State University (1993). He also completed Ph.D. coursework at the University of Utah before transitioning to the legal field.

Licensed to practice in both Indiana and Illinois, Alex represents clients before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and EOIR/Immigration Courts. His practice focuses on family-based and employment-based immigration, removal (deportation) defense, naturalization and citizenship, waivers of inadmissibility, and a wide range of nonimmigrant visas, including K-1 fiancé(e) visas, B-1/B-2 visitor visas, and H, L, and O work visas.

Before law school, Alex spent over a decade as a corporate scientist working with pharmaceutical leaders like Pfizer, Eli Lilly, and Pharmacia & Upjohn. His career shift into law was driven by a personal commitment to helping immigrants navigate the complexities of U.S. immigration procedures.

Alex P. Krasutsky also represents clients in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and parental rights. Drawing from personal experience, he is particularly passionate about advocating for fathers in family court proceedings.
