Alex Onstott

Alex Onstott is a partner at Ciolino & Onstott and a dedicated advocate for businesses, entrepreneurs, and investors across the country. Alex earned his B.S. in International Affairs from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2010 before pursuing his J.D. from Tulane University Law School in 2015. At Tulane, He was active in the Juvenile Law Clinic, Moot Court Board, and Civil Law Society. He also served as Head Coach of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Team, earning recognition for his legal writing at the 2014 Vis East Moot in Hong Kong. Licensed to practice in Louisiana since 2015, he is a member of both the New Orleans and Jefferson Bar Associations.

Alex’s practice covers real estate and construction law, succession, estate planning, and litigation. He represents clients in succession administration, business and real estate transfers, co-owner disputes, and commercial transactions. Drawing on prior experience in complex environmental, antitrust, and product liability litigation, he prepares clients to anticipate disputes and resolve them efficiently. His litigation background equips him to help clients avoid unnecessary lawsuits while protecting their rights when disputes cannot be resolved outside of court.
