Alex M. Estis

Alex M. Estis is a skilled commercial litigator and a Member of the Litigation Department, known for resolving complex real estate and business disputes. Since joining the firm in 2017, he has quickly risen through the ranks, becoming one of the youngest attorneys in the firm’s history to be promoted to Of-Counsel and then Member. He represents clients in landlord–tenant disputes, partnership conflicts, contract matters, and litigation involving co-ops, condos, and commercial transactions.

Mr. Estis earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he received the Brooklyn Law School Pro Bono Award for his dedication to public service at the New York State Attorney General’s Office. He completed his B.A. in Business Administration, with a concentration in Entrepreneurial Studies, at Muhlenberg College. He is admitted to practice in New York and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Throughout his career, Mr. Estis has developed extensive experience across many areas of real estate litigation, including brokerage disputes, holdover and ejectment proceedings, owner occupancy matters, and administrative hearings before the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings, the Department of Health, and the Environmental Control Board. He also handles commercial leasing negotiations and document preparation for landlords, commercial tenants, and net lessors.

Known for his ability to craft creative solutions, Alex M. Estis is highly effective at identifying strategic opportunities in difficult cases and achieving favorable settlements. His background at the Attorney General’s Office and his early courtroom exposure help him analyze disputes with precision.
