About
Alan M. Feldman is Co-Managing Shareholder and founding member of Feldman Shepherd Personal Injury Lawyers. A veteran trial attorney, he has earned a national reputation for winning high-stakes cases involving personal injury, defective products, auto defects, and trucking accidents. Alan has secured some of the largest verdicts and settlements in Pennsylvania and beyond, including $50 million for IKEA dresser tip-over victims and $36.5 million for the family of food truck explosion victims. His courtroom victories span class actions, wrongful death, sexual abuse, and crashworthiness cases, making him one of the few attorneys to successfully try class actions before a jury.
Alan earned his J.D. from Temple University School of Law. He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania, the Supreme Court of the United States, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Alan has dedicated his career to helping families pursue justice after life-changing tragedies, including infant deaths caused by dangerous furniture and fatal tractor-trailer accidents. His record-setting verdicts and settlements include $48 million for a child severely burned by a defective water dispenser and $26.1 million for survivors of a catastrophic tractor-trailer crash. Alan is a Board-Certified Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and a Fellow of the elite International Academy of Trial Lawyers, reflecting his national reputation as a leading personal injury and trial lawyer.
Alan has received top rankings from Super Lawyers for over a decade, including Top 10 in Pennsylvania and Top 100 in Philadelphia. He’s been named among Best Lawyers in America since 2013 and received the Justice Michael A. Musmanno Award in 2017.
Alan M. Feldman also gives back through teaching, public service, and legal reform. A former Chancellor of the Philadelphia Bar Association, he currently serves as Vice-Chair of Pennsylvania’s IOLTA Board, supporting legal aid for underserved communities. Alan’s work continues to shape the legal landscape and improve safety and justice for countless individuals.
