Alan L. Fuchsberg

Alan L. Fuchsberg is the managing partner of the Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Firm and a nationally recognized trial lawyer with over three decades of experience. His practice covers personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and civil rights litigation. He also represents clients in class actions, product liability, employment, insurance, and antitrust matters, as well as cases involving police misconduct and civil liberties violations.

Fuchsberg earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 1979. He previously attended the Council of Legal Education School of Law in London, England, and earned his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Admitted to the New York Bar in 1980, he also practices before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of Connecticut.

With decades of courtroom and appellate experience, Fuchsberg has earned recognition for his skillful advocacy and unwavering dedication to justice. He frequently lectures on legal topics and contributes to major publications, including pieces on the 9/11 Victims Fund and the “Act of God” defense in natural disaster litigation.
