About
Aidan F. Goetzinger is an associate attorney at Gunderson, Palmer, Nelson & Ashmore, LLP, focusing on complex litigation in construction law, corporate litigation, estate and trust disputes, insurance defense, and property rights. His experience in civil and criminal litigation allows him to approach each case strategically and analytically.
Aidan earned his J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2020, graduating summa cum laude with Sterling Honors at the top of his class. He also holds a B.S. in Political Science from the University of South Dakota, where he was part of the Honors Program and minored in French Language Studies. During law school, he was an active member of the Moot Court Board and trial team, competing against nationally ranked programs. He also took on leadership roles, serving on the Academic Affairs and Curriculum Committee, working as a Law School Ambassador, and assisting in legal research as a research assistant to Professor Christine Hutton.
Before joining Gunderson, Palmer, Nelson & Ashmore, Aidan clerked for Honorable Karen E. Schreier in federal district court for two years. His clerkship provided valuable insight into all stages of litigation in both civil and criminal cases, shaping his approach to complex legal matters.
Aidan F. Goetzinger is admitted to practice in the State of South Dakota and the Federal District Court for the District of South Dakota. He is actively involved in the legal community, serving on the South Dakota State Bar Civil Pattern Jury Instruction and Evidence Committees and the GPNA Tech Committee. With a strong foundation in litigation and a commitment to effective legal advocacy, Aidan provides skilled representation for clients navigating complex disputes in business, construction, and insurance-related matters.
