Adam Wogsland

Adam Wogsland is a business and real estate attorney who leads the Business Law and Real Estate Practice Groups at SW&L Attorneys. He advises small and medium-sized businesses from start-up through succession, often acting as fractional general counsel. With extensive experience negotiating, drafting, and closing deals, Adam has handled more than $500 million in transactions. His practice emphasizes practical, client-focused solutions that support growth and long-term stability.

Adam earned dual B.A. degrees in History/Political Science and Criminal Justice from the University of Jamestown, where he was named College Fellow in each major and inducted into Alpha Chi National College Honor Society. He went on to earn his J.D. with distinction from the University of North Dakota School of Law. There, he focused on business formations and transactions, externed with Judge Kermit Bye of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, joined the Moot Court Association, and was recognized by the Order of Barristers.

Before joining SW&L Attorneys in 2013, Adam clerked for the East Central Judicial District in North Dakota and later practiced with a Fargo law firm. He is admitted to practice in North Dakota, Minnesota, and the U.S. District Court for the District of North Dakota. His professional memberships include the State Bar Association of North Dakota, the Minnesota State Bar Association, and multiple sections focused on business, real estate, probate, and ethics.

Active in his community, Adam Wogsland helped organize the SW&L Charitable Fund and volunteers with causes including the Special Olympics Golf Classic, North Dakota Autism Center, BIOgirls, and GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo. Known for his integrity, preparation, and commitment to client service, Adam is a trusted advisor for businesses and individuals navigating complex transactions and legal challenges.
