Adam M. Lustberg

Adam M. Lustberg is the founder of Lustberg Law Offices, LLC, in Hackensack, New Jersey, and practices exclusively in criminal defense. He represents clients facing investigations, arrests, detention hearings, municipal charges, indictable offenses, and jury trials. His work covers homicide, assault, weapons, drug crimes, domestic violence, driving while intoxicated (DWI), juvenile matters, sex offenses, theft, and expungements. Adam earned a Bachelor of Arts from Hofstra University in 2000 and a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2004. During law school, he interned with the Essex County Public Defender’s Office through Seton Hall’s Pro Bono Program. Returning through the Juvenile Justice Clinic, he represented young clients during initial court proceedings. He entered the New Jersey Bar in 2004 and gained New York admission in 2005. This training established a strong foundation in advocacy, courtroom procedure, and client-centered defense.

Adam has represented defendants from arraignment through trial and argued more than 30 detention hearings under New Jersey’s bail reform system. His cases have involved murder, manslaughter, burglary, aggravated assault, firearms, human trafficking, gambling, gang allegations, and other serious charges.
