About
Adam Keating is a partner at Duane Morris LLP in Atlanta, where he represents businesses in employment law and management labor relations. His practice includes employment discrimination defense, wrongful discharge disputes, wage and hour litigation, restrictive covenant matters, and employment contracts. He also counsels employers on hiring, discipline, termination, workplace investigations, employee leave, safety concerns, and reductions in force, helping organizations manage employment risks.
Keating received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 2011 and earned a B.A., cum laude, from Binghamton University in 2007. His legal training supports his work analyzing workplace obligations, preparing employment agreements, and handling litigation and administrative proceedings. He has been admitted to practice in Georgia and in the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.
His work spans both employment litigation and traditional labor matters. He represents management before the National Labor Relations Board in representation and unfair labor practice proceedings, participates in collective bargaining negotiations, and handles grievances and arbitrations under labor agreements. He also drafts executive employment agreements, employee handbooks, and policies shaped by an employer’s industry and workforce. Before becoming a partner, he practiced at Duane Morris, Littler Mendelson, and Ford & Harrison.
Adam Keating has been included in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for employment-related work. His practice combines courtroom representation, regulatory proceedings, and day-to-day management advice. He assists employers with developing practical policies, responding to employee disputes, navigating collective bargaining obligations, and evaluating legal risk when making important workforce decisions.
