Alan E. Lubel

Alan E. Lubel is of counsel at Berman Fink Van Horn P.C. in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a trial lawyer who represents companies and individuals in business litigation, particularly disputes involving unfair competition and claims arising from competitive conduct. His practice includes business torts, intellectual property disputes, defamation, insurance coverage, ERISA, and healthcare litigation. Lubel earned a B.A., cum laude, from Vanderbilt University in 1971 and a J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 1975. At Emory, he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as Book Review Editor of the Emory Law Journal. He has participated in more than 100 trials and arbitrations during a litigation career spanning over four decades. He has also served as a Special Assistant Attorney General for Georgia and taught litigation skills at Georgia State University College of Law and Emory University School of Law.
