About
Adam I. Green is an associate in Littler’s Minneapolis office whose practice focuses on labor and employment counseling and litigation. He handles wage and hour class and collective actions and advises employers on compliance with federal, state, and local workplace laws. His work includes investigations, reductions in force, business restructuring, disciplinary matters, policies and procedures, accommodations, leaves, employee and management training, and other workplace decisions that require coordinated legal and operational planning.
Green earned a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and a B.S. from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. During law school, he received a Saeks Human Rights Center Fellowship and was named a Best Oralist nominee in the Civil Liberties Moot Court. His education supports a practice that combines statutory analysis, litigation, counseling, and practical compliance work for employers facing wage and hour obligations and broader labor and employment concerns.
Green has defended class and collective actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act and state wage laws in several jurisdictions. He also responds to government audits involving prevailing wage, earned sick and safe time, wage theft, and frequency-of-pay issues. Before joining Littler, he enforced employment laws with the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, with a focus on construction labor and prevailing wage matters. That government experience informs his counseling and defense work for employers.
Adam I. Green is admitted in Minnesota and is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association. His employment-law practice includes wage and hour litigation, employer counseling, compliance, investigations, workplace policies, and government-audit defense. His prior state enforcement experience gives him insight into how labor standards are investigated and applied, while his private practice focuses on helping employers manage risk, respond to disputes, and structure compliant workplace decisions.
