Achille C. Scache

Achille C. Scache is an experienced Delaware attorney whose practice centers on family law. He regularly assists clients with premarital agreements, property division, custody disputes, and appeals. Known for developing practical strategies to address complex issues, he has become a trusted resource for individuals navigating sensitive family matters.

Achille began his education at DeSales University, where he earned his undergraduate degree in English and was part of the inaugural Ryan Leadership Institute. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law’s Delaware campus, graduating in the top five percent of his class. During law school, he also served as an editor of The Delaware Journal of Corporate Law.

Achille’s early legal experience includes clerking for the Honorable Alan N. Cooper and Joelle P. Hitch of the Family Court of the State of Delaware. Since then, he has built a strong appellate record, drafting briefs and presenting oral arguments before the Delaware Supreme Court. His work has influenced state law on custody, third-party visitation, and the enforcement of premarital agreements.

Achille contributes significantly to the legal community. He was part of the Family Court’s 2022 child support review committee, updating the Delaware Child Support Formula. Since 2014, he has served on a standing committee addressing domestic violence in custody cases. His colleagues often consult him on complex issues, discovery disputes, and appellate positioning.
