About
Abby Voet is an attorney at Dodd & Dodd Attorneys, PLLC in Louisville, Kentucky. The firm’s practice centers on divorce and family law matters, including custody, parenting time, child support, maintenance, prenuptial agreements, adoption, domestic violence, and related disputes. Abby brings recent legal training and prior litigation exposure to a practice environment focused on helping individuals address sensitive family-law issues that often require careful preparation, communication, and advocacy.
Abby earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Louisville Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in 2024. She previously graduated summa cum laude from Northern Kentucky University in 2020 with dual bachelor’s degrees in Communication Studies and Organizational Leadership. In law school, she served on the executive boards of the Women’s Law Caucus and If/When/How and received CALI awards in Energy Law, upper-level research and writing, and the Ackerson Mediation Clinic.
Before joining Dodd & Dodd, Abby clerked at Satterley & Kelley, PLLC, a Louisville personal injury firm with an asbestos litigation practice, and interned with Blank Rome LLP in Cincinnati. Those positions gave her exposure to litigation practice and different types of client matters before she entered her current role. She was admitted to the Kentucky bar in 2024 and now works in a firm whose services are directed primarily to divorce, custody, support, and other domestic-relations concerns.
Abby Voet combines strong academic performance, communication-focused undergraduate study, mediation training, and early litigation experience. Her background supports the careful listening and organized legal work needed in family-law matters, where factual details and practical consequences can be especially important to clients. She approaches legal issues with a foundation in research, writing, and dispute resolution while developing her practice within a Louisville firm dedicated to divorce and related family-law representation.
