Aaron C. Jones

Aaron C. Jones provides legal counsel in corporate and commercial matters, with an emphasis on guiding companies through transactions and protecting intellectual property. He brings a well-rounded perspective that combines his background in economics, business administration, and law, allowing him to deliver solutions that address both operational goals and legal requirements.

Aaron completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan in 2017, earning a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration. He continued at the University of Michigan Law School, receiving his J.D. in 2019. During law school, he contributed as Senior Editor of the Michigan Law Review and served on the board of the Entrepreneurship Law Association, experiences that deepened his leadership and critical analysis skills.

Aaron focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and complex commercial transactions. He advises businesses on entity formation, regulatory compliance, and the drafting and negotiation of key contracts. His experience includes guiding clients through asset and stock purchases and sales. In the intellectual property space, Aaron handles trademark and copyright strategy, registration, licensing, and transactional matters, helping companies protect, monetize, and grow the value of their creative and brand assets.

Aaron has consistently balanced his legal career with service to others. While in law school, he volunteered with the Unemployment Insurance Clinic, where he advocated for individuals seeking benefits. He also established the Maize & Blue Cupboard, a food pantry that continues to support thousands of families in Michigan, reflecting his dedication to addressing community needs.

Aaron C. Jones is also active in Iowa’s professional community. He co-chairs the Iowa State Bar Association’s mock trial program, encouraging youth advocacy. In addition, he participates in the American Bar Association, serves on the Business Law Section Council, and engages in regional initiatives through the Greater Des Moines Partnership and the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute.
