About
Maurice Arcadier is the managing partner of Arcadier, Biggie & Wood, PLLC, and is Board Certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Specialist in Labor and Employment Law. With more than two decades of experience, he represents clients in business disputes, employment litigation, commercial law, export compliance, and ITAR matters. He also serves as a certified mediator, helping parties resolve disputes efficiently. His leadership combines high-level litigation skills with firm management and client-focused advocacy.
Mr. Arcadier earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Florida in 1994. He later received an International Law degree from Tulane University/La Sorbonne in 1995, followed by his joint J.D./M.B.A. from the University of Florida in 1997. His strong academic foundation, blending business, international, and legal training, has shaped his ability to navigate complex disputes at both the state and federal levels.
Following graduation, Mr. Arcadier began his career with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), where he provided legal risk management services for Fortune 500 companies. In 1999, he founded his own law firm, initially serving as a general practitioner before narrowing his practice to business and employment law in 2006. He has since represented clients in significant cases, including whistleblower claims, collective action FLSA disputes, and class action discrimination lawsuits, many of which have drawn national media attention.
Licensed before the U.S. Supreme Court, the Florida Supreme Court, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida, and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, Maurice Arcadier brings a wide-reaching perspective to his practice. Today, he manages a seven-attorney firm with offices in Melbourne, Orlando, and Boca Raton, while continuing to advocate for businesses and employees in complex employment and commercial matters.
