Grant Schwabe is an experienced commercial litigator with more than two decades of legal practice focused on complex civil disputes. He has represented Fortune 500 companies in a wide range of matters and has appeared before state and federal courts throughout Oklahoma and other jurisdictions. His work covers high-stakes cases involving business conflicts, regulatory issues, and industry-specific litigation.
Grant earned a B.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma in 2000. He later received his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2005. This educational background provided a strong foundation in business and legal principles, helping him develop the skills needed to address complex legal challenges across multiple industries and practice areas.
Grant advises clients in matters involving banking and finance, real estate, construction law, energy litigation, employment and labor law, and general civil litigation. His practice also includes employment practices litigation, insurance defense and coverage issues, commercial general liability insurance matters, and appellate law. By working across these areas, he helps clients evaluate risks, resolve disputes, and pursue practical legal solutions.
Grant has extensive courtroom and appellate experience. Beyond handling trial matters, he has managed more than sixty appeals before the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals, the Oklahoma Supreme Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. His experience allows him to guide clients through both trial proceedings and the appeals process when important legal issues remain unresolved.
Grant is also active within the legal community and regularly shares insights on topics affecting banks, investors, mortgage companies, and loan servicers. His presentations often address lender liability, banking litigation, and regulatory concerns. In addition, he served as an Adjunct Settlement Judge for the Tulsa County District Court’s Early Settlement Program, assisting with cases involving banking and real estate matters.
