Yazan S. Ashrawi

Yazan S. Ashrawi is a trusted legal advisor and experienced litigator focusing on land use, zoning, real estate, eminent domain, Corporate law, and appellate matters. He represents public and private clients in business issues and litigation, guiding them through complex legal challenges. As partner-in-charge of the Columbus office of Frost Brown Todd, Yaz leads strategic legal initiatives and assembles the right teams to maximize resources for efficient, high-impact results.

Yaz earned his Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law in 2012 after completing his B.S. in Sport Management and Business at The University of Texas. Licensed in Ohio, he has built a reputation for handling high-stakes litigation, including jury trials, bench trials, and pre-trial motions in state and federal courts. His appellate experience includes over 30 appellate matters, with successful representations before administrative agencies, state appeals courts, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Ohio Supreme Court.

Yaz also serves as legal counsel for the International League of Professional Baseball Clubs, Inc. and holds key municipal law positions, including Law Director for the City of Powell, Ohio, Law Director for the Village of Johnstown, Ohio, and Village Solicitor for the Village of Marble Cliff, Ohio. Additionally, he represents the cities of Dublin, Grove City, and Pickerington in all eminent domain litigation matters.
